ICPE meets with Institute for African Studies

ICPE Director-General, Mr Dr Bogdan Štefan Šalej, met with Mr Eyachew Tefera, Director of Institute for African Studies, Slovenia, in Ljubljana, 1. December 2009.

Mr Tefera expressed the importance of collaboration between the two organizations, in bringing Africa closer to European Union, as well as to Slovenia. Several potential areas of cooperation were identified, among which the most  is the cooperation on environmental issues such as climate change.  Dr. Šalej and Mr. Tefera both emphasized the establishment of academic cooperation between ICPE and Institute for African Studies.
