ICPE/FELU International MBA Programme 2013/14 Concluding Ceremony

On Thursday, 18 September 2014, ICPE and the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, organized a Concluding ceremony of the ICPE/FELU International MBA Programme for executives and policy makers, which has been re-established in the academic year of 2013/14, after a three year hiatus in order to revitalize and adapt the programme to the needs of the public sector enterprises of ICPE Member states. The programme conducted by FELU holds international accreditations from EQUIS and AACSB and the participants were awarded with a nationally accredited Master degree as well as with an MBA Certificate, issued by FELU. 

The participants of the 2013/14 batch had the privilege to be exposed to the knowledge and practices, lectured by professors with experiences in high level policy making, such as former as well as current ministers, i.e. prof.dr. Dušan Mramor (Minister of Finance) - Financial Management and prof.dr. Stanka Setnikar Cankar (Minister of Education, Science and Sports) - Best Practices in Public Sector Management.

The two year programme, which has been conducted in one year, was pursued by 14 candidates from India and Slovenia. More than half of the 2013/14 batch has completed the programme in less than one year, while the others are expected to finish the course and defend their master theses by the end of 2014.


The Concluding Ceremony was held at the premises of the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, where the Dean, prof. dr. Metka Tekavčič and ICPE Acting DG Mr. Janez Podobnik held welcome addresses for the graduates.

The keynote speeches were delivered by the Programme Director prof. dr. Nevenka Hrovatin and H.E. Mr. Sarvajit Chakravarti, Ambassador of India to Slovenia. The informal reception of the graduates was held at the ICPE Club, where the participants had one last chance to strenghten connections and discuss global issues with the professors.

The graduates have joined the ICPE MBA Alumni Club, which has recently been invited under the umbrella of FELU ALUMNI and will thus have an opportunity to become ICPE Ambassadors in India to promote the course also within their respective companies to future candidates.

Round Table on Trends and Developments in IT Supported Systems of Civil Status Registration

As ICPE is devoted to contributing to the global efforts of civil status registration, it organized and hosted today’s Round Table on the Trends and Development in IT Supported Systems of Civil Status Registration, together with its partners GENIS and Interact4C. The event, which was sponsored by the Company Cetis, brought together relevant actors, who deal with certain aspects of civil status registration.
