Meeting with H.E. Mr Alejandro Días, Ambassador of Mexico

Friday, 7 September 2012 Acting Director General Mr Janez Podobnik has received the Ambassador of Mexico Mr Alejandro Días in ICPE. The main purpose of the meeting was to present to HE Ambassador the main activities of ICPE and to invite representatives of Mexico to participate to annual ICPE international conference Benefits and Challenges of Public-Private Partnership for Improving Energy Efficiency which will be held in 24 October 2012 in Ljubljana.

H.E. Ambassador was delighted to hear about upgraded and tailor-made ICPE training programmes, enhanced cooperation with international organisations, namely UNIDO, UNCTAD, ITU, ICT and some others as well as about establishment of  ICPE MBA Alumni Club.

H.E. Mr Días has promised to deliver the information to the responsible governmental officials and provide all required assistance in obtaining Mexican representative for the ICPE annual international conference this October. Besides, HE Ambassador informed that in three weeks’ time he mostly will be back to Ljubljana and would be glad to pay another visit to ICPE.
