Meeting with Dr. Lanre Tejuoso from Ogun State, Nigeria

Thursday, 20 September 2012 Acting Director General Mr Janez Podobnik and ICPE representatives have received Dr. Lanre Tejuoso, Honourable Commissioner of Ministry of Special Duties from Ogun State, Nigeria.

The main objective of the meeting was to present to Dr. Tejuoso the main activities of ICPE, in particular training programmes, development models and international events. Also, the meeting was used as an opportunity to invite representatives of Ogun State to participate to annual ICPE international conference Benefits and Challenges of Public-Private Partnership for Improving Energy Efficiency which will be held in 24 October 2012 in Ljubljana.

Therefore, Dr Tejuoso was mainly concerned about training programmes for Nigerian officials coming from Ogun State. He promised to convey the message about current ICPE activities and how Ogun State could benefit more from cooperation with ICPE, especially from training programmes. Last but not least, Dr Tejuoso was very interested into a possibility to organise regional conference in Nigeria on public-private partnership for the Western Africa region. Further meeting on possible cooperation between Ogun State and ICPE will be held in the nearest future.
