Engagement of south asian countries with icpe to be reinforced

The Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to India Her Excellency Mrs. Darja Bavdaž – Kuret organised a dinner in honour of the Elected DG, ICPE Dr Anand Asthana and his wife on April 24. On the occasion, the Ambassador reiterated the commitment of Slovenian Embassy in New Delhi to promote the engagement of ICPE not only in India but also in neighbouring countries under her charge. The Ambassador plans to visit Sri Lanka in the last week of June where she will promote ICPE as well. Similarly, efforts will be made to engage Member State Nepal, former member Bangladesh and potential member Bhutan. The Ambassador has offered to organise a party for the alumni of ICPE in Delhi on 29^th of June. A conference on the role of ICPE in South Asia is proposed to be organised the next day.
